This Series Now in My Top 4 (w Grn Ck, Veronia, BHS)

This series was fantastic. Both world building and character development top notch. I love how Drake followed multiple pairings throughout the series. The narrator is relatively new to me, but I'm impressed. Not quite the voice acting range of my top 3, but a good range of voices and consistently easy to follow who's talking. The series has moved into my top four, as has the narrator. That's big kudos from me because that means the series is up there with TJ Klune's Green Creek and Tales from Veronia, and Sheena Jolie's Beacon Hill Sorcerer. Narrator joins Kurt Graves, Greg T/B, and Joel Leslie.

Bloody Brilliant

Some much loss and a clever conclusion. My favorite type of store balances the light with the dark. Therefore, I must add this on to the list.

Best Ending!

What a way to end the series! Now wondering if the ending is the beginning of a spin off series... if so I am here for it!

Great Series for the gay YA crowd

Creatively done, but.... You have a group of 15 to 16 year olds (looking at behavior) that do not change their immature behaviors after going through the deaths of family, murder, abuse by and deaths of gods. After all those experiences the insufferable name-calling of brat or idiot still rolls off their tongues. The m/m sex is what is written about by female authors who do not get it right, but may appeal to romantic looking gay men readers.

all in all a great series

I wondered aloud how a civilization with cell phones and modern tech don't have airplanes. that makes sense now. It's such a well developed world. Take you out of this world for a minute. isn't that worth it?
