This book is, somewhat, a collage of chapters, each one being a stand-alone teaching. Lots of devotional books have varieties of short inspirational teachings from the Holy Bible and this book covers a variety of teachings as well.

The book offers warnings and admonishments with warnings being to avoid some of the snares of the devil, whose deceptions can be powerfully deceiving. The admonishments are actions we can take to recognize what our enemy (Satan) attempts to do to dim the light of Jesus Christ for us and others we can warn.
