it started good with good examples tips and anecdotes. then it became too focused on entrepreneurship and she kind of praising herself for her achievements.

Review

Good Story - I was able to pull some tips - I was looking for more of the mechanics on how to strive in that business entrepreneural environment. Maybe I misunderstood the intent of the book. Nonetheless, I applaud her amazing success, hopefully she writes another book and breakdown how she applied some of her lessons learned and advise she was given in more detail.

Highly Recommend!

This book is great for people in any stage of life really. Sukhinder did a great job of articulating the thoughts that many people have, but are unable to voice. As a young person with high aspirations in corporate America, this book could not have been more timely. Thank you Sukhinder for releasing the book of the year!

Quality examples combined with strong action items

I love Sukhinders' story telling model. She starts a chapter with a story, then using the story she explains the lesson learned. This model has been quite eye opening as it's relatable for many of us. Her real life examples and drops of motivation truly gives us confidence in her writing and her story.

I highly recommend this book, if you want to rewire your understanding of Risk.

Not relatable

Even with 3 advanced degrees I found this not relatable. The goal of these career opportunities is not education of oneself, making life better for others or innovation for humanity. This has an unsaid foundation of money and prestige. While this is why most people do work, 90% of people don’t have this drive or Ivy League ambition or contacts of this context. And that’s ok, obviously there are niche books, and that’s terrific!

This is basically a memoir

This entire book is about the authors personal career it’s not actually clear findings so much as her musings on her story.

it was ok.

it was an ok book. not bad, just ok. I found the stories mostly blah with no real sparkles, in simpler words unrelatable. this whole book could have been a 2(Maybe 3) pages article about the author's personal and professional journey.

More like an autobiography...

The learnings could be summarized in 5 min, the rest is the byography of the author and a detailed description of her career
