Resumen del Editor
Was there ever a man so perfect, a ruler so noble, a son so devoted? Outrageous expectations perhaps, but they all came true in Lord Rama.
Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, was born to reinstate dharma at a time when it was threatened. But the life of the heir to Ayodhya's throne was one of endurance. Banished to the forest by his own father, Lord Rama; his divinely beautiful wife, Sita; and his faithful brother, Lakshmana, settled down in Panchavati. Life seemed peaceful. But would it stay that way? Why did trouble follow them? How and when would Lord Rama encounter the demon king, Ravana?
Written in a lucid style that is easy for children to read, this timeless epic is brought to you in a refreshingly new format.

Short and sweet
This is a very short and beautifully narrated version of the great epic. I love the discussion at the beginning. The narrator's Indian accent is easy to understand and adds the perfect ambiance to the essential Indian epic. Listen to this audio book to get an overview of the story.

Thank you very much
Thank you for bringing this story to us in English. I have made several attempts to narrate this great epic to my kids, but have been unsuccessful at expressing with the simplicity this narration has.
I can't thabk you enough for bringing this kids outside India who don't have enough exposure to the mother tounge.
This is a sincere effort to introduce the roots of our culture to our kids even in distant lands. I wholeheartedly appreciate your effort in bringing this.
I would however say, somemore aspects of the Ramayana could have been included like Sita dropping her jewels, Story of Tataki and Maricha, Vishwamitra teaching arechery to Rama, Agastya giving more lessons and the story of Kara and Dushana.
End of the day this most certainly is an commendable effort from the narrator. Many Thanks.
