Resumen del Editor

The girls and I have just settled into a routine inside the walls of Moondale, when The Quest Board demands that we save the former villagers from a horde of orcs who are keeping them as prisoners in a well-defended outpost.

I have to keep my girls safe! And I need to save the villagers.

That means that the ladies and I are going to need to Rank Up quickly!

But greater evil than murderous orcs dwell in the Eros Woods.

And the dangers beyond the walls are nothing compared to the challenges I face inside the wall with the bevy of beauties all vying for my attention, especially my three wives who feel I am ignoring them. I think I might fear their anger more than an army of orcs!

5 stars

Another great book by D J Kingman. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life.

Orc battles mixed with relationship complexities!

"Cheer Girls: Survival" (D.J. Kingman) skillfully blends orc battles with relationship complexities inside Moondale's walls. Andrew Pond and Erin Bateman's narration adds life to the characters, making this LitRPG Harem Adventure a captivating fantasy. A delightful mix of action, romance, and humor, it's a must for fantasy fans!

Just Survive

This is a well written book. The dual narration is perfect. The name of the game is survival.

Just what you'd expect book 2 to be.

If you liked the first book, you won't be disappointed with this one.
The group gets more girls.
They have more bad guys and monsters to kill to make their village safe.
There's more emotional and illogical young women crap that the MC has to deal with.
We find out a bit more about what happened to Hiroku.
Great story and I'm now impatiently waiting for the next book.
I give this book 7.5 stars out of 5.

Really?

This book really needed a few second opinion because the characters have only been in the woods for a few days to a week and suddenly they aren't progressing fast enough. I could have missed something, but they are progressing as fast as possible. Then there is the contradiction....apparently they need to complete a ton of quests and have sex all at the same time. Yet, we are given information that literally states that won't work. Make up you mind author!

Indecisive, passive punchingbag mc

Not sure where the author wanted to go with this book, the previous book, the mc was a pretty good character, not completly OP but not useless either, in this book tho, he nerfs the shit outta the main character, he becomes completly passive in fights, adopting the idiotic wait and watch until shit falls apart before taking action. And when he does take action: "you're a defender, act like it" proceeds to get his ass kicked, every. bloody. fight.

I suspect the author attempts to highlight the women around the mc and their abilities, but he does so at the cost of the MC which takes away from the story in my opinion, why does the MC have to be useless to show other caracters are good fighters? it just seems like bad writing to me. there are more minor irritations with the book, but to me this is the most glaring issue with book 2.

TD;LR: MC went from being a decent main character, whom was infact a defender in book one, to a bumbling idiot who just watches and waits until the fight is going down hill, for him to get his ass kicked, and having to be saved by the women in his party.

Ight

It feels as though he’s trying to hit a word count so the dialogue is drawn out and repeated with different words multiple times. Additionally the MC despite supposedly being in charge and have a “beast” is a major pansy when it comes to making any important decisions or confronting people. For instance, Penny; she is constantly lying and manipulating to the point where the MC FINALLY calls her out on it, yet she does one good thing and all is forgiven till the cycle starts again.
