He introduces us to a world normally reserved for those who have been victimized or who battle disabilities: a world of loneliness, depression, denial, anger, embarrassment, and despair. The coup de grâce which brought Robert to his knees—the loss of his cherished martial arts studio.
No income. No job opportunities. No formal education. Instead of breaking boards and flying through the air with high kick precision, Robert’s life was now tethered to a bed, encapsulated by doctors, bill collectors, and lawyers.
Robert reveals how the philosophies and principles of martial arts became the tools that allowed him to overcome the terrifying challenges he now faced.
Robert discusses his battle with the Social Security Administration and state agencies. He shares with us his lowest moments when exposed to crassness, ignorance, discrimination, and prejudice.
Robert shares with listeners how he turned a horrifying incident into a positive outcome that inspires and helps heal wounds suffered by others.
Robert took his anger and turned it into a determination that has brought him success in business, love, and purpose in life.
