Sad to see this series end!
I had no idea this audiobook came out already, I instantly downloaded and listened to it because I loved books 1 and 2 so much. I have to say it didn't hit me like books 1 and 2 did but it was a good ending of this series that I know had caused some anxiety/stress to the author because of hateful messages. I thought the way the group was able to get through to Kenzie was cool, but I had kinda hoped for more failed attempts first you know? Like extend it a bit, try to interact with each other more to try and get her out of this dreamworld. Overall it wasn't bad, but I thought that seemed a little rushed to me. I loved the guys coming together and each getting their turn with Kenzie for a nice conclusion. I thought the more than 1-1 sexy moment was great and I understood why it couldn't be with more of them haha (one can hope though!). I think the pack and alpha dynamic was really cool and had hoped for more of that. I think if that and the struggle in the dreamworld by the bad lu, then it would have been a 5 star for me. I am happy with how Rebecca ended, it was great to see their life after in the epilogue. I love the Harpers and like I said, sad to see this end. I hope we get glimpses of them in bonus scenes if a box set is done or something. Or we get to follow Kenzie's brothers with their adventures 😊
Narration was again on point for me! I had no constructive feedback, Maya does an amazing job with female and male voices, and also with bayou accents. I thought she really brought MacKenzie and her lovers to life, as well as the other side characters. The voices of the various omegas was great, you could tell when a different one had made an appearance. Also the tension between the alphas was palpable, amazing job!
Love this series, bittersweet though since its over!! Recommend it for those who love RH, love shifters and seeing the feral side of their animals, and who love intricate relationships/more in-depth feelings and growth amongst the harem and the female MC ❤️❤️❤️
