Fantastic series

I listened to all four books in this series. It kept my interest from page one until the end of book four. This is a complicated love triangle between a cop, sexy and sassy club owner and her best friend shady bartender. I want to review the series rather than each individual book. There is lots of twists, turns, angst, past coming back, dealing with the underbelly of society and the power of drugs. There is also the discovery of love. Kate loves Marcus and John, but she has different elements of that love for each man.

This was my first time exploring Ms. Parker's books. They are brilliantly captivating and intriguing. The flow was easy to follow and had the right amount of description and wording to not be boring or have me lying my interest.

Hannah Parallel brought this story and characters to life. Her voice was consistent for each character. Listening to Hannah was enjoyable and soothing.

Wasn't a fan of the ending

trust me, I won't spoil it but I kinda felt it was a cop out and rushed. I felt Ali could have created something unique and different but nope, she bent to traditionalism and went vanilla. bleh! She was even setting it up to be unconventional but backed out and bent to conservative views of what a relationship should be. Great writing but not the ending I had hopped for.

Last story in the series!

Cash Money, an Audiobook by Ali Parker is the final story of Jon, Marcus, and Kate. Plans are in the works to free all of them from Billy’s hold. But, he’s always a step ahead of them!!! The ending was a little unexpected….but, makes sense as I look back. I only wish that there was more explanation of how that ending came to be….

This story was, once again, narrated by Hannah Pralle….who continues her excellent performance!!!!!!
Again, ends in a cliffhanger….but, there’s one more story left in the series…and I’m there!!!!

Cash Money

This serves as the review for all four books in the Bad Money series. I really enjoyed this series and finished all four books within a week. The books storyline and the interesting characters kept my attention from beginning to end. I like Ali Parker's writing style. Each book was better than the previous. The last book, Blood Money, brought out a lot of emotions. I recommend giving this series a try. Hannah Pralle did a great job with the narration but I feel it would have been better with both male and female narrators. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
