Short and sweet and fun

I am a fan of this genre but this is the first book I've read by this author. The h was unlikable at the start and I was concerned that she would be not be redeemable but by the end, I was rooting for her.
This was a very enjoyable novella and I will read more from this author. narration was great and added to the story. I'm sure I'll listen to this again. would recommend for anyone who appreciates books with adult content.

Fun, Quirky, Steamy Why-Choose Rom-Com!!

A fun, steamy why-choose romantic comedy about a shipwrecked heiress on an island with some interesting creatures!

Harper is a stereotypical spoiled, shallow heiress, who's pretty mean to the ship workers. She's a little unlikeable at the beginning. Power through this. This is part of her journey. Her day goes from bad to worse when she finally goes a vacation on her new yacht, and some bad weather causes it to capsize, plus her crew has already left her behind on the only lifeboat. What happens next is a whirlwind of adventure and learning to survive with her newfound companions.
The story is very lightly paranormal, not super detailed and lore-heavy, but nicely light and more go-with-the-flow-type. There's steamy times, single and multi-partner scenes, and nothing really triggering (there's talk of experiments, but nothing detailed).

This is a complete standalone, though if the author wanted to do more stories about Harper and Co, I'd be happy!

I liked the narrator! She differentiated between all the voices quite well and didn't reuse the same "male" voice for each of the different male characters. I listened at 1.15x speed.

Loved it!

A creative exotic story of love and innocence.
I highly recommend it escaping into a dream world of fantasy.

omg SO CUTE

Honestly this was a curiosity read—the flamboyant cover and then the premise of capybara shifters had me wondering. It actually turned out to be super cute, sweet and even hot at times, and though it was short, it’s definitely complete. Based on this experience, I’d like to read more from this author.

The narrator was outstanding, I’d actually say the phrase ‘voice actor’ fits better as she performed this book and performed it well. 5 stars.
