Drama with History and geography

I enjoy the multicultural character development in the story and the non-linear undercurrents the story carried. The story moved through the countryside and in and out of the characters with a twist here and there. I Thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Good story; great setting; main character flawed.

Overall, the book is enjoyable. Narrator very good; believable, and easy to loose self in the story. Love the setting of the story, as well as many other supporting characters. One criticism: main character is annoying, immature, and self-centered. As he makes stupid decisions at every key point, the main characters’s behavior does not match his supposed level of intelligence or maturity. Hopefully the character will develop as the author’s skills increase in subsequent books. I definitely liked the book enough to continue the series, and look forward to more from this author.

National Parks Murder Mystery

Clean National Parks Murder Mystery. I appreciated the lack of graphic relationship details… refreshing clean murder mystery. I stumbled upon the series while searching for fiction books about the area we vacation. Good visual descriptions regarding the archeology and geography. It’s nice to recognize the areas. Good character development. I listen while driving, so kept me engaged. I’m skipping ahead to Canyonlands book as our next vacation is in the area, so not reading in order.

The Grand canyon is such a great place to have a story. so much mystery so many legends and so much has so much intrigue.

I hike the Grand canyon and I know exactly how the author felt when writing about the gentleman without water in the bottom of the canyon and had to crawl out.
it brought back some very thirsty memories

So glad to find these on audible. The combination of southwest imagery, outdoor adventure and mystery is perfect. Read this!
