Any additional comments?
This was just a short story so it didn't have time to really develop. That's why I was kind of torn between 3 and 4 stars. It was good. The story, the sex, the romance. It just felt like it could have been so much more if it had had a chance to expand. But since it didn't, it was a little rushed. The H and H went from nothing to "in love" in a blink. Sometimes, that's all it takes, I know, but this just felt like it could have used more to the story. I'm still a big fan of Bella Andre though.
The Narrator: This narrator has a style that I think some people either really like or really don't. I do. She a little sing songy at times but still all in all a fine narrator. If you think you might not like her style, listen to the sample first.

It's just candy
Lust at first sight and just as quickly falling in love. Wasn't expecting any real drama or depth. Candy Store is a short and cute enough story. Ms. Christensen did a really good job.

Just Awful
I've listened to all of her books and this one was just awful. Trite dialogue, under developed characters, cliche plot. Eva still does a great job as narrator but I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this book.

i always enjoy bella andre - but not this time
this storyline is like an overdone hallmark movie that is completely blown out and over-dramatic. *spoiler alert* the 4th time they see each other he realizes that he's in love with her....a misunderstanding at dinner has him walking out on her and leaving her at a restaurant with HIS family while he goes out driving his ferrari 100 miles an hour on a country road in "fist sized hail"....while she decides she wants to "fight for their love" and walks several blocks in the same hail and waits outside on his porch curled up and crying wearing a dress while the hail is leaving welts on her arms.....seriously. not up to bella's normal standard. disappointed i wasted 2 dollars and 2 hours. the performance was good but the story was NOT.
