Great Stories: Creepy and Creative

I remember loving scary stories as a kid and wanted something my kids and I could enjoy on evenings around the fire pit. This totally delivered. The stories are short enough to hold their attention but packed with just enough detail to linger after the lights go out. I especially liked how some of the scarier ones used everyday tech and familiar places—it made the chills feel a little too real in the best way. Great listen for road trips or turning an ordinary night into something a bit more thrilling. My kids love them.

Spooky Spooky!

My young next door neighbor is a big fan of spooks. With it being way too hot to go outside and play, enter this audiobook. We listened to some spooky stories, one after another. The narrator is perfect for this! The Shed with the Rusted Lock was our favorite. If you're a fan of spooky stories, this book delivers. Even as an adult, I found the stories to be well written and scary. There's a bunch of them so you're certain to find something you like. I have no doubt come Halloween, he'll want to re-listen to this. Happy to have this in my collection!

Made my camping trip fantastic!

I brought this along on a camping trip with family this past weekend, and I thought maybe the kids would enjoy it. I played the first story, "The Whispering Willows," hoping the kids would at least make it through one story. As it turned out, the kids and the adults all got into the story, and after it was over, the kids were like: "play one more!" When all was said and done, we had listened to nine stories that night, and the kids are super-excited for the next camping trip! The narration is great, super spooky, and the stories really suck you in. Highly recommend.
