Kamari and Cassidy

Necessity has forced Kamari to be an independent woman. She is also a woman with a big secret. When she starts receiving the unwanted attentions of the man who killed her father help comes in the form of Cassidy Dalton, a widower with a 9-year-old son. Kamari has to decide if she can trust Cassidy with her secret and trust him to help her. In the end, it takes the whole family working together to solve the problem.
Another excellent book in this well-written series. Books can stand alone or be read as part of the series. I have enjoyed the characters and plot lines in each book. The narration is easy to follow and character voices are well done.

Obsession can be deadly!

A young woman had a secret, but she also has a beast of a man obsessing over her.
However, as fate would have it, another bigger beast, who under current conditions appeared tamed, had also been attracted to the young woman, 3 years earlier. Now, on renewing her acquaintance, he was again enchanted by her. Fate brought them together, and she knew which beast she would trust.
You need to read the book, and my explanation will be crystal clear.

Clean but not Prudish

I really enjoyed this story. Kamari is a strong woman used to being on her own and taking care of her own problems. Then one night she runs into something she can't handle on her own but who can she turn to?
Cassidy is a widower who has been raising his son on his own. The two of them need to learn to trust each other before it's too late.
I love that Kamari is a strong woman and even though she needs help, she never acts helpless. This is a clean story but there is still romance and a hint of spiciness.

Civil War Era Clean Romance

Kamari, an Indian-white mixed race teacher, becomes involved with the father of one of her students as she hides her mother from arrest. Book 4 in series, but works as stand alone. Hero in this book is the brother of heroes in books 1-3.
