Charlotte Ritchie was traveling halfway across the world to attend her brother's wedding. She and a small group of family and friends planned on spending the week prior to the wedding volunteering at a rescue center in Kenya. Falling in love might not have been on Charlotte's to-do list that week, but as we all know, life doesn't always turn out the way we plan. She would slip briskly into an intimacy from which she'd never recover. Falling in love would be the easy part. It was leaving the man of her dreams behind that would be nearly impossible.

Charlotte and Cub

In this little continuation of the Hunt family stories, we follow Charlotte as she goes to Kenya to attend her brother’s wedding. We also find out that she has been heartbroken for the past couple of years and doesn’t think love is in the cards for her because she feels so apathetic about it.

While there she meets her new sister-in-law Rachel’s brother Cub. Cub is pretty great. He’s confident and very settled with himself as a person. He’s giving and sensitive and funny and a carpenter. So he’s also kind of buff.

I loved their love story. This one wasn’t as quick as the last two stories in the way of insta-love. Yes they said they loved each other pretty fast, but they didn’t get married 2 weeks after meeting either.

I loved their banter and flirting. My favorite part was his proposal at the end because of their banter back and forth. It was so cited I won’t be forgetting Cub and Charlotte any time soon.

GREAT SERIES

Kate Rudd is my favorite narrator and never fails to make even the male voices sexy, the female voices all sound different with flawless transition., and the children voices are so cute.
The Hunt Family series is the sweetest family series full of love... love of each other... love of others... love of less fortunate... love of God! I read these 1st 3 books in one day. Brooke St. James has become one of my favorite authors.

This is a great book; this is the third book in the Hunt Family series written by Brooke St. James and narrated by Kate Rudd. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. The narrator Kate Rudd did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

My Favorite so far

I am so happy this was Charlotte’s HEA!! I liked her right from book one but wasn’t sure who would be perfect for her. Ahh the man that steals her heart is perfect for her! I loved this book I think this might be my favorite so far.

Again fantastic narration Kate is making each character unique at least to me she is.

sweet clean romance

I enjoy Brooke St James and her clean, character driven stories. The narrator was great.

A sweet international romance

I love the Hunt family and Cub fits right in. Logan and Rachel's wedding, meeting Cub and Rachel's family and their mission family, it's a great adventure! The narrator is amazing and she really gets the characters. I wish all Brooke St. James' books were on audiobook!
