More characters to love!!

Shannon has done it again! She’s made me fall in love with another FMC!!

From the first trilogy in this universe, I wasn’t sure how Diana would turn out since she was the stoic and fierce Queen the entire trilogy. But, she’s turned out to be just as awesome as Sienna! I’m amazed t​o learn about her protective side and her emotional side in addition to the way she portrays herself as the Queen of the Werewolf Territory. As the first Queen ever, the stakes are higher than ever. She cannot fail, she cannot be seen as a weak leader and she cannot let any man boss her. I love her!

It was fun to see Raven out of his element and at the mercy of someone who doesn’t back down!🤣 Their banter had me giggling the entire time. The parallels with Dominic were just so good that I easily fell in love with their dynamic. Add in Nicholas and the Oracle, it made for a team created for entertainment out on a dangerous mission.

With powerful enemies, they need similarly powerful and resourceful allies. The adventure introduces more intriguing characters and someone I didn’t expect! That goes to show, this series is not done stunning me yet!!!

Special mention to Myrr for being the absolute best she can be and making this journey so much more enjoyable!!!! I need more of her!!

I’m so excited to see what the sequel is going to give us!!!

My husband and I are loving these books! I am loving that I get a Raven story that also includes the Queen.

Back in the territories

We return to the world of vampires and werewolves. Diana is trying to save the veil and starts on a journey to the human world. She needs quest buddies and one of them is Raven, who continues to rub Diana the wrong way. Which is totally part of his charm and so entertaining. The usual fast paced adventure and the sprinkles of spice kept me entertained and engaged throughout the story. Narration is great and the switching POVs make it easy to follow along. I’m ready for the next dose of Diana and Raven!

A new couple in the series take the spotlight

This is book 4 in The Alpha Territories series and begins Diana & Raven’s story. The war continues with a new power couple taking the reins to find the missing keys and save the world they love. I have wanted to know Diana’s story ever since she was introduced in the previous books. She comes across so strong and self assured and she is truly a b@d@ss in her own right. She has a past that made her this way and here we get a glimpse of what has forged her into who she is. I also LOVE the connection she and Raven have.. It’s a funny, sexy, slow burn that I cannot wait to see enfold with the next 2 books. The secondary characters are also very relatable and colorful and will have you sucked in even more. They all add to the tapestry of this world and leave you wanting to know more of who they are and what motivations them. The world building here is amazing and you really do feel as if you are there and in this book we spend more time in the human world, and it was fun to see how these worlds merge and don’t at times. This read was fast paced, engaging and left me wanting more…

2nd installment of Alpha Territories

This is considered book 4 of the Alpha Territories but it's book 1 for Diana. Immediately we embark on an adventure to find what was taken from Diana and per brother dearest Dom , she now has to put up with the annoying, irritating and totally delicious Raven. Will she be able to resist?

I want to start off by saying that I am a fan of this series. While I get that out of the way, this wasn't my favorite book. For some reason, Diana bothered me. I haven't had a problem with her in previous books, but for some reason, she just really got on my nerves. I think it had to do with the fact that it FELT like she was trying to show her power as a leader and get her way, even when her ideas might not necessarily have been the best plans. Honestly, I don't even know if that's it. I just didn't like her as much as I should have. By the end of the book, I was feeling better about her, but that feeling took away some of my enjoyment.

Raven, on the other hand, was a really fun character. I liked his arrogance and attitude, because even when he was annoying, it felt like he was just trying to get a rise and not really his real attitude.

Anyway, this is the continuation of the Alpha Territories series and we have moved on to the Werewolf Queen going on a quest to find a gem that was stolen from her and her Pack 60 years ago. Supposedly, this gem was needed to help repair and close the Veil, which has torn and is slowly causing disasters in the world. After 15 years, it will not be much longer until the world as they know it is gone.

So this begins the quest. Raven and Nicholas (2 Vampires) are sent with Diana as protection as they go to the Human Lands to try to find the man who stole the gem. Along the way, there is a whole lot of roadblocks that they have to overcome - a dragon, a necromancer, many many Vanadors, demons, a volcano and a very very evil presence named Lilis.

By the end of the book, I was completely invested again and sad when I realized that this book was going to end without finishing this part of the storyline. So now we wait for Book5 - Hidden by Fate to find out what is going to happen between Raven and Diana. And I think it is fair to say that I am definitely rooting for Raven

Better than the last one

Story from another perspective was nice. The storyline in this was a nice surprise. Love how it came across with hints of the couple previous books.

Diana's risky and dangerous adventure

This is Diana and Raven’s action-packed story. I love the characters and the world building is awesome! Diana sets sail with 2 vampires and a crew of werewolves. It’s a risky, dangerous adventure, with the wild weather anomalies, Vanators, and dark Lilis. They’re hoping it'll be quick, but when is anything ever quick? Will they all survive this trip? You're not going to want to stop listening to this absorbing story! This action-packed book is filled with danger, demons, dragon, mermaid, hell-hounds, Werewolves, Vampires, magic, Keys, Oracle, special weapons, a quest, Vanators, Zombies, prophesy, Lilis, earthquakes and battles!
