Unique Take on Caffeine and Superpowers

The story is engaging and grabbed my attention right away. In this unique world, caffeine is banned, and Abby finds out the hard way what happens when her boss brews the real caffeinated stuff.

Narration was ok and brought the story to life.

Here you will find witches, fae, demons, angels, etc The story flows at a good pace with several twists and turns throughout the book which makes it interesting.

There is quite a bit of language and raven references that seem a bit overdone but the concept of the story was very good so I tried to overlook it. There is also some crudeness woven in. Even with a few bumps along the way it was a very entertaining story and I found it hard to put down.

The story wraps up nicely and a hint of what is to come is thrown in there to keep us guessing. I’m looking forward to the next book in the Supernatural Barista Academy series!

So Unique

I already wrote a review and somehow even though I submitted it, it was deleted which is kind of annoying cause I never saved it so I dont remember all of what I wrote, but here are the main points I wrote.

Its a great book with such a unique story line, I dont like coffee or tea myself but I do drink caffeine in my pop and in Iced Caps (Canadian thing I guess?, its from Tim Hortons and better than Ice Coffee). I cant imagine a not having at least one or the other, mostly on the side of pop though.

There is a lot of paranormal in the story which makes it hectic but still pulls it off nicely. I quite enjoyed the story and a new world it brought within it.

Narrator does a good job on the characters, bringing them to life and drawing you into the story.

They'd Kill for a Coffee

Abby is working as a Barista at a non-caffeinated coffee shop trying to find a use for her chemistry degree when her manager gives her a taste of the real thing. All of a sudden she is thrust into a world of demons, magic, and betrayal. It's hard to know what to do when everything you've been taught is a lie, you can't trust anyone and you are just one expresso away from incredible power. Starbucks meets a more Adult Hermonie Granger in this fun Urban Fantasy. Outstanding Narration!

With me being a lover of coffee, I thought this would be an interesting take with caffeine being a "drug" to cause super powers in people.

I got have way and I have to stop. It bored me to tears! I paid more attention to my neighbor washing his car than this.

Will not be finishing this series.
