We are to “Come out from among them.” This title sounds divisive and judgmental. Let me say that this might be one of the most difficult and challenging books you have ever read.

The concept of unity in our modern-day teachings has been misconstrued, advocating for a constant association with anyone at all times. However, the guidance from God’ Word directs us to discern and separate ourselves from certain individuals. This mandate is a blast against our emotional belief that God wants unity at all costs.

I want to preface this book with these statements. The material contained in this book is a clear Biblical directive for Christians to act like Christians, and those who do not are subject to church discipline, according to Matthew 18:15-20. In all matters of the Christian faith, we are commanded to love and not be vindictive. The end result of church discipline should always be redemption and reconciliation.

The Bible teaches us about love and unity, and that we should seek to be at peace with all men? However, the Bible also teaches church discipline and warnings for believers who refuse to embrace the mandate of “be holy as I am holy.”

This is Book 1 of a two-book series titled “Come Out From Among Them.” As God's Word describes, the embodiment of a fruitful, holy, and blessed Christian is contingent upon leading a sanctified (set apart), holy, and undefiled daily walk with our Lord.
