CBD oil, or cannabidiol oil, is an extract made from the hemp plant, which is a member of the cannabis family. Many of the stigmas surrounding cannabis oil come from a misunderstanding about the classification of the plant. Yes, cannabis does produce marijuana buds. No, this does not mean that CBD oil will get you high. In fact, CBD oil does not contain enough THC to get you high. THC is the psychoactive component found in marijuana. CBD oil offers only the medicinal benefits.

The search brings new types of medication and re-establishes those that may have been forgotten with time. A great example of this is the healthful benefits of the hemp plant. This simple, but powerful, cannabis plant variety has been the subject of attention for the past few years, after the endocannabinoid system within the body was discovered by medical scientists to be influential to certain types of body's responses to diseases.

Millions of people are suffering from chronic illnesses that, unbeknownst to them, are the result of exposure to environmental toxins and infectious agents such as mold and Borrelia, which causes Lyme disease. Millions. Because the symptoms of these illnesses are so varied and unusual, many of these individuals have sought medical care only to be dismissed, as if what they are experiencing is “in their head”. Many (if not most) have tried to tough it out and continue to function without hope of improvement. Unfortunately, their illnesses are very real.

Magic mushrooms have unfortunately been wrongly presented in the media. Some abuse it by using it as a psychedelic drug, and these are the stories that the media most often cover. However, there have been many scientific experiments and research that have proven the healing properties of these mushrooms.

Historia
Over the past 50 years, rates of autoimmunity and chronic disease have exploded. In this provocative book, Dr. Thomas Cowan argues for a direct causal relationship to a corresponding increase in the number of vaccines American children typically receive. The goal of these vaccines is precisely what we’re now seeing in such abundance among our chronically ill children: the provocation of immune response. Cowan looks at emerging evidence that certain childhood illnesses are actually protective of disease later in life.

The search to find medicines is as old as disease, which is to say as old as the human race. Through serendipity - by chewing, brewing, and snorting - some Neolithic souls discovered opium, alcohol, snakeroot, juniper, frankincense, and other helpful substances. Ötzi the Iceman, the 5,000-year-old hunter frozen in the Italian Alps, was found to have whipworms in his intestines and Bronze Age medicine, a worm-killing birch fungus, knotted to his leggings.

Resumen del Editor
You’ve probably heard about all the fascinating new medical discoveries concerning the human body. One of those discoveries is the endocannabinoid system, which is a major influence over important aspects of your body. It also has ties to various diseases, if it’s not maintained carefully. We came to learn of this biological system by researching cannabis, which contains chemicals that activate certain receptors in our bodies, receptors that were primed to be activated by cannabinoid substances.
Why is this?
Because we produce those chemicals on our own, in our bodies. They are called endocannabinoids, and they do exactly what cannabinoids do - except we synthesize them ourselves. If we have figured out this huge system of receptors in the human body, and we found a convenient way to influence them, now we just have to research how these receptors are connected to various diseases that appear, seemingly out of nowhere. There is strong indication that some of these diseases come from inadequacies in the endocannabinoid system, often from a deficiency in endocannabinoids.
What if we could fix that? What if we could treat ourselves with just one easily-grown plant? Cannabis and, even more specifically CBD, has been proven to be effective when combating these diseases. It’s being studied to treat cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s and many more, but it’s been proven to work against Dravet syndrome, lung cancer, anxiety, inflammatory diseases, depression and many, many more.
The CBD train is leaving, and this is one of the last chances to get on it. Will you be a part of a better, brighter future where humanity treats itself as a whole and helps those among us who need assistance? We have embarked on a wonderful trip towards better health for everyone, no matter how severe their condition might appear.

You may not know that you have Lyme. It can mimic every disease process, including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions like MS, psychiatric conditions like depression and anxiety, and cause significant memory and concentration problems, mimicking early dementia. It is called the "Great Imitator," and inaccurate testing - combined with a fierce, ongoing debate that questions chronic infection - makes it difficult for sufferers to find effective care.

Historia
We humans like to think of ourselves as highly evolved creatures. But if we are supposedly evolution's greatest creation, why do we have such bad knees? Why do we catch head colds so often - 200 times more often than a dog does? How come our wrists have so many useless bones? And are we really supposed to swallow and breathe through the same narrow tube? Surely there's been some kind of mistake. As professor of biology Nathan H. Lents explains in Human Errors, our evolutionary history is nothing if not a litany of mistakes, each more entertaining and enlightening than the last.

Against much of his better judgment, he joins these do-it-yourselfers and reports his surprising results.

Historia
Napoleon's Buttons is the fascinating account of 17 groups of molecules that have greatly influenced the course of history. These molecules provided the impetus for early exploration, and made possible the voyages of discovery that ensued. The molecules resulted in grand feats of engineering and spurred advances in medicine and law; they determined what we now eat, drink, and wear. A change as small as the position of an atom can lead to enormous alterations in the properties of a substance.
