Good audio book of financial advice. It gives practical advice on how to change your thinking about money and how to create a budget that you will really stick to by making it your own. The book is funny and down to earth, making it a much easier read than many others on this topic. It is easy to understand and follow his principles and they are applicable to those with some debt and financial problems as well as those who are barely making it financially.

This might not work for others, but I found this audio book to be EXACTLY what I need to start getting my spending under control. I recently retired and am living with reduced circumstances. I have been finding it far too easy to keep spending money as if I still had it. This book provides a way of doing a personal budget that actually makes sense to me. I can have enough flexibility to have the things I really want when I cut out the things that don't really matter. It provides a way of looking at the things I automatically spend money on to try to see if there are better ways of getting what I want. I can do things in ways other than the way I have done them always that provide as much as or more pleasure with much less cost. I absolutely love this.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It’s short and to the point. There are a lot of excellent books out there about how to operate your finances but they leave you a little lost and overwhelmed on where to get started. This provides the tools you need to actually create a budget. If you don’t know where to start this is the right book.
