Yet the more books Omer reads and the more he moves through elite worlds, his feelings of shame and powerlessness only grow stronger, and clear answers recede further away.

So disappointing story, lack of hope and backing to the root with not talking lessons from the university etc.

A well read book on an interesting individual

I had not heard of Omar Aziz up until a few weeks ago where I read one of his articles on foreign policy. I found that he had published an autobiography and rushed to find it on Audible. The story is well done, and the piano tunes in between chapters, make the reading easy.

Depth of emotions

Being a brown girl its so relatable yet incredibly inspiring, every chapter have its own moments & emotional roller coaster, loved every word and emotional depth
