Unique voices bring life to characters.

With the second installment of Kingdom Society Nathan has shown continued improvement in his storytelling as well as his narrating. An already amazing and exciting story now has now been developed into a complex series. Previously foreshadowed characters and arcs come to life in Broken Reality. The audio book truly brings these characters to life with unique character voices that bring a life to the characters which is simply more difficult to capture in written form.

In this book you'll see your favorite characters go on another adventure with more exciting, demoralizing, and uplifting experiences that give the characters even more depth and development. You'll also see your heroes interact with new interesting characters. This includes my favorite new addition to the series - a badass villian that you hate to love.

Nathan's pacing, writing style, and attention to detail have progressed tremendously while staying true to the exciting adventure that made the first book come to life. If you enjoyed the The Black Hood, you will without a doubt adore Broken Reality. Get the book! This is a series worth investing in.

Another banger of an Audiobook

Nathan continues to kill it with the voice acting and his narrative voice and energy is fun, enjoyable, dynamic, and on-point. Nathan definitely ups the ante from the first book and he continues to bend genres with sprinkles of inspiration and the things he loves from the real world. The book at time is fun and at times serious and at time dramatic. There were many lines that made me laugh out loud. Great book and audiobook. I can’t wait for more of his projects to come out and I can’t wait for book 3. My favorite character in this installment was Crusher! Team Crusher!

Good old fashioned explosive fun!

So, what happens when you combine highlander, with a combination of high action anime? Kingdom Society, ofcourse, and the Sci fi blend offered by Broken Reality only ramps it up from the Black Hood. I did read this in kindle, and there is more to be found in that review, but I cannot emphasize enough how layered and individual Korath is as an antagonist, or how the consequences of vengeance find their way to Alyeth.
On the fun side. Readers may be entertained by the array of worlds being presented. (There is one that reminds me of a straight up scene from f-zero) and Kingdom Society is innately good at a fusion concept of Seven Deadly Sins with a bit of Chronotrigger for unique flavoring.
So, that leaves narration: done very well. Mr. Helm provides a solid mix of voices for all his characters. I am particularly fond of his use of a Sean Connery style voice. In the character choice, it definitely made me think of Ramirez from Highlander.
Well, this is far from the end of the series, so this is my review cheering him on for more!

Training with his master Xylok, he discovers new forces at play that eventually leave him in yet another perilous situation generated by the Game Master! In an effort to rescue his team, Alyeth struggles with choices and new powers he is offered.

Serving as narrator and writer, Nathan Helm has captivated his listeners with an action-packed, intense adventure spanning across different worlds. His characters are authentic feeling and well developed fostering a connection for the listener. Despite an intricate storyline, his use of sound facilitates easy and immediate identification of characters thus enhancing the listening experience. His plot twists are well executed. When it comes to the final moments of the book, one longs to hear more!

A well-written and highly entertaining story with unique characters!

I did get this free audible from the author for an arc review for an honest review. These are my own feelings on my review.

I really loved this book and the narration is off the hook! I’m sooooooo excited to read the rest of the series. Very action packed and I loved that the MC and Koren are talking about getting married a lot. It was really sweet touches that just made this book so much better! Bravo Nathan! Now I just need more please…..

The story as a whole is amazing. For the second entry to the series, it kept me on the edge of my seat. The battle scenes were scaled a and depicted vividly. It was gut wrenching, heart warming, chaos bringing fun and I can't wait for the 3rd installment.
