it was a really good book.

it was a really good book, narrator was great. I went from chapter 1 to 18 in one day because I didn't want to stop listening. very good book. but read hatched first so this one makes sense.

Best book of all time for me. I swear I love it so much.
I would tell everyone that likes the outdoors to listen/read the hatchet books all in order!! This one is my favorite so please get this one!!!!!!!

the story had so many answers to Hatchet and I jest saw that there are three more books to the series that I hadn't read, can't wait to read again.🙄🤓😌

The best

For 65 years, I have wandered the woods of Mississippi, the plains and mountains of Wyoming. My life and my heart have been filled with adventure and "close misses" of loss of life and limb. This adventure of Brian, brought back those adventures of my youth and events that shaped me to dearly desire and love nature, and the outdoors. grand nature and it's harshness as well.
Gary Palson has written a grand story, "John Boy Walton, brought it to life. I am just not sure which of either of the men, brought tears to a hardened wood lore man, myself

I love Brian’s winter, Brian’s hunt, the hatchet, and the river. They are all great AudioBooks 10/10 They are my personal favorite audiobooks 👌👌👌

score was a little much

I wasn't a fan of the musical score that accompanied the narrator, it felt distracting

Definitely a fitting sequel to Hatchet, a book! so good! it wasn't supposed to be canon but became so. If you're planning on listening to the whole hatchet series, listen to this one before the river.
