Sweet lovestory
I liked this love story of the sheltered naive girl and towns’ bad boy. It was sweet, full of drama and secrets and my favorite spice: loyalty. Will listen this again.

Great quick book
Reyna and Brady... What to say about them and this story?! Honestly, I wish there was more to it. Another book? Or... Just more. I really liked their story enough that I feel like I need more!
The story had enough drama and intensity that it kept me reading/listening.

Another winner by Tijan
If you are looking for love with some angst and throw in some hot factor and you have a winner of a romance novel. Even though this is a coming of age love, I find that I don't consider them high school graduate or soon to be. I read and listen with an open mind and just find that overall the stories that Tijan weaves are just what I need for some distraction and entertainment. I give this five huge stars!!!!

Not Tijan’s best but narration is one of the better ones.
Story’s meh. Female lead is annoyingly clueless.
Abby Craden is a very good narrator. Very engaging. Emotions well delivered. Changes in voice tenor etc didn’t sound awkward.

Wished for more
3.5 stars - While I overall enjoyed the story, it’s seemed a little more convoluted to me. There were times when the main character, Rayna, was upset, and I wasn’t sure what had set her off. Furthermore, although we were told that she and Brady had best friends all their lives, there were times a situation was made out to be normal for Brady, but she didn’t know how to react. A lot of questions did get answered in the end, but it felt rushed.

Good listen
I love this author and this was a good listen, with an interesting premise and great characters but I did feel like i was dropped into the middle of a story and never really got all the details or resolution to it all. I wish it was just a little more developed. Narration is done well.
