Tedious listen

My OCD made me finish this book but I listened to it at 1.5 speed to get it over with quicker. MMC is an overly disgusting manwhre, FMC starts as a doormat, eventually grows a spine, but still has BBS. Back to MMC, the number of OWs he has is ridiculous and there’s zero grovel.

Damian & Sofia

This was a second chance romance going from friends to lovers.
It was an arranged marriage where he had to court her from the age of eight.
So he courted her, made her fall in love with him, proposed to her all the while having unprotected sex with other women even on her birthday, he is a constant manwhore, had sex with her cousin, his father’s secretary and other women. He contracted chlamydia from other women which could have cost him his child. He was immature, rebellious and wanted to hurt Sofie.
Sofia was smart and knew what she had to do and took action. Highly commendable to Sofia a strong female main character. Loved it!
I felt the MMC needed to grovel much more than he did because she was truly faithful to Damian while he was still seeking relief from other women to get his rocks off. Really that’s how much he missed her!
It’s just like couples therapy- the female who always has to except, forgive and forget what her husband did yet, he would not be able to accept it if it was the other way around.
infidelity definitely runs in the family. Four stars only because it was virtual voice and lack m/f voice narrators and emotions. I fell he did not redeem himself.

Not enough grovel

Well, first of all, i hate everyone in this story.
●The MMC, not only for obvious reasons (cheating and manipulation), but he also gave FMC chlamydia.
●FMC for keeping her mouth shut while her mother literally gives her guard permission to rape her. He never succeeded, but what's the point of keeping silent?
●FMC's mother for being an abusive cunt just because her husband cheated on her so she must take it out on her daughter.
●FMC's father who decided to become a manwhore and ignore her daughter's bruises. He also f*cked MMC's mistress while said mistress was eating out his niece. Just gross people all around.

MMC's grovel consists of therapy and saying pretty words. Even with his remorse when h ran away, he was still trying to sleep around. And why is it the FMC'S job to put all the other women he fucked in their place whenever she runs into them? He just stands there gaping like an idiot.
