I've always dreamed of doing this

...and now I'm one step closer. Great audiobook. It's filled with lots of answers to the questions I needed to know. Well narrated too. Super-interesting. Would recommend!!

The narrator had a pleasant voice but she mispronounced many words

I enjoyed the book
it was well written and the narrator had a very pleasant voice.
very easy to listen to……
but there were locations out west that she mispronounced and it was just a little bit distracting from what she was actually reading out loud because you would want to try and correct it but you couldn’t!


however, I’m not going to subtract that from the fact that it was a really informative and well presented book….it had a lot of great information and I’m very grateful for it.

Love this book!

Boondocking is such an exciting concept I have always wanted to do it but don't know how to get started. This is such a great book! This book gives you tons of information and tips, so you know everything about boondocking to start your own. Now I am ready to take on my first trip! I especially appreciate and like the chapter on no trace principles, everyone should follow those! Get your book if you have ever wanted to travel in an RV!

So, with everything getting more and more expensive, I thought I'd try my hand at staying in an RV and working remotely from there. So, to prepare for this, I decided to read up on RV camping since I'll pretty much be doing that full time after I sell my house. Let me tell you, this book is exhaustive! I have been watching videos for a few months now but this book still taught me a few secrets that I hadn't come across yet.

Boondocking Adventures Unraveled & Made Simple 👌

This book is a boon for boondocking enthusiasts and wannabes. I had no idea that there was an exact science behind boondocking and I could never imagine myself doing it. But after reading this exhaustive book by S. K. O'Brian boondocking makes sense and doable. The advice & suggestions given here can and must be followed by campers in general. What I loved about the book is that the author explains everything there is to know before you set out on your adventure. The author suggests to first start by camping in your driveway, then a little further away from your home, as dry runs to see where you stand in your preparedness before you head out into the wild. Excellent advise. Even the make and model of stuff needed for your ultimate success is mentioned in the book along with loads of tips & hacks. I loved the tips on how to conserve water, without sacrificing hygiene and the chapter on 'No Trace Principles'. Noteworthy thing is the author wants us to have a good time in the wild and also wants us to respect Nature & Wild Life. The narration of Sherrice Williams is fun to listen to and will transport you to different places! Highly recommended.

Excellent Learning Tool

I really enjoyed this book. The list of the necessary gear for a successful boondocking experience was something that I hadn't thought of prior to listening to this and all of the tips that they gave were not something that I could have gotten on Google. Must buy!

So exciting!!

I can not wait to be able to actually go out into the wide traveling all over eventually! I have 2 young kids at the moment so it will probably be awhile before I can make this a reality. But this audiobook is PERFECT to prep for your journey(s)! I’m sure plenty of people have some rough experiences simply because they weren’t prepared to the best of their abilities. But this will guide you step by step and teach you so much along the way that you may have never thought about until it was too late. Best Boondocking book I’ve come across so far!

Great Resource

This is a great resource for camping at essentially dispersed sites, something all of us Coloradans are trying to find. I've been to many of the sites mentioned and they're fantastic, and added some more to my list for the future!

As I have an RV, I especially loved the tips and tricks for boondocking. Some of these seem so obvious, but I never even thought of them! Gave detailed information on what to look for online ahead of time--something that is a necessity! Also, great tip on talking to other boondockers for info, as often the crowd is friendly and I know I'm happy when I can help. I'm glad they included the no trace principles, as it's always a good reminder!

Interesting information and valuable tips!

This was a fun book to listen to, especially as it got me excited to plan my next RV trip! I never thought that I'd have the courage to embark on a Boondocking adventure, but this audiobook provided such invaluable tips that I feel prepared for such a trip, no matter was surprises come my way. It has opened-up a whole new world of adventures, and I am just so grateful I found this book to equip me for all that awaits on the open road!
