heartstrings are pulled

we knew from previous books that Arrow had a story and wow wow wow. his story was worth the wait. I hope to get more of Arrow and the rest of the gang as I just want to keep following them through their racing careers now

some authors tell a god story. some authors makes you feel the story. this author makes you fell the story

This was my favorite book so far in the series and the narration was so good!!!

#Arrow & Hopper!

Arrow and Hopper are both damaged souls that found a way to fit their broken parts together in order to heal. As much as I enjoyed these two together, there is nothing that can surpass the tension and explosive fire between Trent and Drew...even now, after more than 2 years since I last listened to #Junkie and #Rev and they still live rent free in my mind. Sadly, I don't feel that Arrow and Hopper are complete, but to be honest I am not sure what else there is to say. Michael Fell has a pleasant voice but not differentiation; I kept forgetting whose voice I was hearing. The WTF facts at the beginning of each chapter were interesting and funny...especially the fact that O.J. Simpson was once considered for the role in Termator. My god, where would Arnold Schwarzenegger be if that had happened 🤔🙄

I was really looking forward to Arrow’s story and knew it would start out rough but I wasn’t expecting to get teary-eyed over Hopper’s past. I liked the set up of the book getting past chapters from both of them first, it was essential to get the full impact rather than a retelling of their story yrs. later. Again my main reason for a drop in stars was for the instalove aspect. Yes there was attraction from afar for a while but I don’t like seeing talk about love and giving your heart away after only a week. They did have a conversation about how they realized it was happening quickly but it’s still not my favorite. But I loved the storyline and how they gave each other strength when it was needed most. One other think I would have liked to see was Hooper going back to Seattle with Arrrow- his inner monologue talked about taking a trip back to see him family after all these yrs but it never happened in the storyline so it seemed a bit unresolved there. But otherwise I really enjoyed this story.
