Wonderful new series!

Where does Bloodmagic rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I am a bookaholic, written and Audible, and I rank Helen Harper's Blood Destiny series up there with some of my all time favorite listens. I originally purchased Bloodfire (book #1) because it was on sale and oh my gosh I was looking for book 2 (Blood Destiny) Audible availability before I was even done with book 1.I can not recommend this series any more highly. If you like C.E Murphy, Anne Bishop, Patricia Briggs, Ann Aguirre, Diana Rowland, Kate Locke, etc... You will love he Blood Destiny series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mack Smith is an awesome kicka** h that is fun to read about and of course Coorigan is an excellent alpha H.

Which character – as performed by Saskia Maarleveld – was your favorite?

The narrator, Saskia Maarleveld, is fabulous! Please don't change her in the upcoming audio releases for books 3+.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I am not much of a reviewer because I would rather be reading and I tend to like a wide variety of authors. But I do read reviews to find new authors,so I hope this helps someone else find a new great author.

Any additional comments?

Too bad they do not have the whole series available at Audible but it appears (based on Amazon.com info) the audio version of books 3 through 5 will become available throughout the summer: Bloodrage (#3) a July 7, 2014, Blood Politics(#4) a July 7, 2014, and Boodlust(#5) - Aug. 5, 2014. And yet I still am too impatient so I will probably read them now and listen later...

Best series in a long time

Doesn't resort to cheap sex scenes to make for a great fantasy romantic story. Love it, highly recommend!

I listened to this ebook while mowing quite a while ago, but life interfered for a while before I could get my review written. This is the 2nd book in the series. This is a series for adults.

Initially, I was confused about what was going on. I think this is because I have not read book 1 yet. I do own the book though. I plan on reading book 1 and maybe listening to book 2 again afterward because you never know what I might have missed in my confusion. I was thoroughly entertained by the story and narrator whose accent I love.

The book had plenty of mystery and intrigue. The book was entertaining, and I definitely want to read the whole series to see what happens with Mack.

I recommend this book to paranormal fans because it has a bit of everything and is definitely a wonderful story.

I love Mack!!

I really love the main character. Mack is a strong, resourceful female who can kick ass, but best of all, she is funny!! Her big mouth is constantly getting her into trouble and it seems like she never misses an opportunity to let a smart quip go unsaid, regardless of the consequences. This adds another layer of entertainment just to see how much more she can complicate an already difficult situation, then find a solution to get out of it any way. She takes responsibility for the repercussions of her comments and actions which I find admirable and makes it that much sweeter when she gets in each little dig. Totally looking forward to the rest of the series!

Second book in the series-First was that good

Where does Bloodmagic rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is a really good book, I enjoyed it so much I listened to it a second time. I did the same with the first book in this series.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bloodmagic?

The adventurousness of the character (female) of the story. She meets Fae, Manages and other characters and stands her ground.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the Fae transport her to the Lord Alpha's chamber.

Any additional comments?

I recommend this book highly, also the first in the series. I also bought extra credits so I can get the complete series.

Bloodmagic ( Blood Destiny book 2)

This audible book / book is fantastic!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 I enjoyed listening and reading !! The FMC is still a badass - she is finally starting to know what she is after many years of thinking she was just human and cannot wait to listen and read book 3 !! I couldn’t put it down I was listening when I couldn’t read it and reading when I needed me time !! LOL 😛 love this series!
