FANTASTIC STORY. GREAT CONCLUSION TO THE TRILOGY WITH LOTS THRILL, INTRIGUE, SUSPENCE AND LOTS OF GOOD HUMOR.

STORYLINE DOES INCLUDE DARK MAGI, ABDUCTION, BLOOD ARTS AND LOSS OF A FRIEND.

STORY WAS GREAT AND EASY TO FOLLOW.

ACCEPTABLE FOR TEENS & UP.

NARRATOR WAS GREAT, WELL SPOKEN AND EASY TO FOLLOW.

Parents: PG-PG13 this is acceptable for middle school and up
Language: PG very little used
Violence: PG13 nothing too graphic
Sexual content: PG - kissing, background LGBT characters, but overall it stays really clean.

This is book three and they really need to be read in order so go back and read 1 & 2 first if you haven't already. This will mimic my reviews on books one and two as these books are very tied to each. I listened to all the Evers Series before this series and I would recommend that as well but it is not required. I do like this series more then the Evers Series, I just feel this series has a more relatable main character. Tom and his version of talent/blood magic is kind of interesting and in book three has all the stress, tension and action that we all expect in the final book. It continues to be a fast paced read. Without giving anything away this book does have a resolution... sort of and yet it is also left wide open to possibly continue.

The narrator did a good job with all the differentiations and acting. There was only one accent that I struggled with and I did prefer listening at 1.35x speed.

Another well-written story from a good author

Blood Legacy (Blood Magick Trilogy Book 3), my seventh read from author Marie-Hélène Lebeault. The concluding spinoff of The Evers Series moves the setting to the past. An entertaining read! Zane Boyer's narration, though different from Valerie Rose Lohman's narration on the Evers series none-the-less makes a good book enjoyable, the accents he affects help bring the characters to life. I can't imagine reading the book without these accents. I look forward to reading more from this author so I'll have to investigate some of her other works.. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

The Third Book of the Trilogy

I enjoyed book 3 of the "Blood Magick Trilogy" as much as the first two. Tom was an intriguing character who grew throughout the series. I appreciated Tom's relationships with his family and his friends. I thought that this book ended the trilogy in a satisfying way. Zane Boyer's narration was fantastic. I liked that he provided various voices for the different characters. His performance added to my enjoyment of the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
