It's a great series, i am actually listening to the whole series for the 2nd time I loved it so much.

Love the story, can’t stand the weird narration

Narrator is almost monotone and hangs on to words with a weird breathy effect. Reads really choppy. Man voices are really unattractive for men that are supposed to be attractive. It’s just weird. I think I’ve listened to other books she narrated and super disliked then too. Still not the worst I’ve heard, hence 2 star rather than 1. Happy with the continuing story.

Okay book

The main character earned many God like powers but with these new powers she couldn't stop her ex-lover. Hence the need for book 4. A lot of hand to hand combat, knives, magic.

Lack of conclusions

I want to love this series, my only issue is there are many times that things just “work out”. With no explanation, it’s wrapped up with a tiny bow and you’re left thinking how did we get here, and what about this, and what about that. Hope this review makes some sense I did not want to include spoilers
