Good

Pretty tame mystery but I enjoyed it. This is a new to me author and am looking forward to the next one.
The narrators weren't bad but better at 1.25 speed.

Great story with great narration

The narrators of this book seriously made the book come to life to me! I’ve always been a Chris Brinkley fan and I loved Shannon McManus as well. The book itself was also great. This was a new to me author and I’m so glad I checked them out! This story kept me entertained and ready to dig in deeper to what was happening and “who done it.”I had a few things I wish it had in it for more explanation but not enough to not leave me ready for more! Already have the next book in this series lined up on my tbr as well as a few others by this author

Maddie Baker Mysteries!

Blind Bake (Maddie Baker Mystery, Book 1) is an entertaining listen. I'm a huge fan of Denise Grover Swank and was thrilled to get a chance to listen to this mystery. Told in dual pov Maddie & Noah's romance is winsomely weaved into the mystery plot. The writing style is compelling and captures your mind. Small Town romantic suspense, with an unexpected plot twist. Looking forward to listening to the next audio in the series.

Shannon McManus, Chris Brinkley dual narration was really good. Highly entertaining, bringing out the characters and their story. Both inflections were very easy to listen.

Kept me hooked

Fabulously crafted murder mystery. Normally these things are easy to figure out but the author did a great job having plenty of twists and turns I did not see coming. My only complaint is that there is a cliffhanger and I don’t like not knowing that going in. So now I’m feeling a bit unsatisfied because I can’t get the next book right now. So I have to wait and sit with a cliffhanger which I don’t like. That is my only complaint. The mystery is brilliant the characters are well crafted and the narrators did a fabulous job bringing it all to life.

I loved the last series so I'll love this one.

I really enjoyed meeting the new characters in this new series. There wasn't much humor in this first book. Hopefully it will get better in the next. The narration was really very well done.

Amazing audio

I was gifted a copy of this audio and I’m so glad I took a chance on it! It was so good! Some mystery, some spice, some damaged MCs, a tough as nails FMC… ALL OF IT. Loved it.

Great story

I enjoyed the characters, the story was intriguing. The negative for me was so much foul language. It just wasn’t necessary to tell the story.
Love Denise and have read most of her books.

I absolutely LOVE this book!

Rose Gardner is my favorite series from Denise Grover Swank. While I enjoyed her other series none of them got me like Rose’s story did… but Maddie could be well her on her way!

I love how Denise writes female characters. Bad a** yet, believable and real. I loved the duel perspectives of Maddie and Noah!

I’m grateful Shannon McManus is back to narrate. I don’t think it would be the same without her! Chris Brinkley did an incredible job! He brought Noah to life!

I hope this series lasts! I can’t wait for more!

Great Mystery

Kept me interested the whole time. Narrators were the perfect fit for the main characters Noah and Maddy! Of course Maddy could not just stand by and let the police solve the case. Not sure if she actually helped or just got in the way! I loved her character and she was not over the top. Can’t wait to follow her story!
