Another entertaining story

The use of Tagalog and authentic conversations and Filipino food add greatly to the story. The main character is likable, flawed and dedicated to her family. It makes for a light murder mystery and entertaining read. I enjoy this author’s work and look forward to her next book

Cozy reading at its finest. You never really know what is gonna happen until the end. I love reading but listening to this brought the story to life.

My Comfort Series!!

I’ve started listening to this series when I was away from home for college. Everything in this book, from the family values, the unique Filipino dessert creations, to the incredible narrator has made me feel comforted and has given me a touch of home—minus the murdery stuff of course. I am so excited to listen to the next book! Thank you so much for this wonderful and entertaining series!!

the mystery and twist will get you thinking. Understandable mispronunciation of some Filipino words .. love the food and family combo.

I loved it! I read arsenic and adobo and then used audible for Homicide & Halo Halo, and Blackmail and Bibingka.

I liked the story and how it brings Ronnie to shady palms.

I just wish there was more storyline with Lyla & Js romance. Crossing my fingers for more in depth in the next book ❤️
