What the what?!?

I am too nice of a guy to leave an honest review about this book. Suffice to say... it was clearly a passion project for those involved.

This was an amazing adventure. Kept me intertwined in the story line and engaged in to the characters

Not my usual genre, but it really kept my interest and was enjoyable to listen to the story.

True action adventure science fiction

Excellent sound production. Some voice actors better than others. Lots of voice acting. Its like kettle corn with salt and butter.

An Amazing Space Epic that should be a Best Seller

Black Star is an absolutely amazing sci-fi space epic that kept me at the edge of my seat with it's beautifully performed story and awe-striking soundscape. When I first sat down and hit the play button on this title I didn't know what to expect. Perhaps I thought it was going to be a simple narration with a few different voices and some background music, and I would have been happy with that. Instead, I was treated to a cinematic presentation and story that kept me fully immersed with an inability to put it down. The story is wonderfully told through a mix of top-shelf voice acting and a beautifully designed soundscape. The only thing this story left me wanting is to get the next book.

If you're a sci-fi fan and love audio dramas - Black Star is a must-have addition to your audio library.

Freakin dope

Awesome story, acting, and audio work. Reminiscent of sci-fi like the Fifth Element. Had a lot of fun moments, but plenty of action too. The production is so well done it feels like you’re watching a movie.

Heart racing action packed

Loved it wish there was more absolutely breathtaking and heart racing the action scenes were phenomenal and the soundtrack was just as Good Hope there is more. The creator definitely has the mind for this.

Good Sci-Fi Audio Drama

Fun full-cast Sci-Fi Audio Drama with really good sound production. Interesting characters, plenty of conflict, with room left for sweetness. Atmospheric. I look forward to more from this author/universe.

Decent story difficult to understand preformances.

The story was decent and even sometimes interesting, but unfortunately certain parts were very difficult to understand due to the book having alot of action sequences. These sequences have many loud sound effects which were professional sounding but had little to explain what's going on. Some of the voices we're very difficult to understand as well because they were made to sound like robots which made them sound flat and mumbled. However the story is good, it is very reminiscent of the Star trek series so if you like that type of thing this might be for you.
