I wish I had something like this when I was growing up. Hearing stories from women who I can relate to is the missing piece I needed. Thank you Beverly for creating this book.

I must say that I enjoyed listening to Black Girls Rock. I loved listening to Beverly Bond narrate. I also appreciated the excerpts from the honorary Black Girls who Rocked on BET's stage.
