Carol Swain (PhD) is an award-winning political scientist and former tenured professor at Princeton and Vanderbilt Universities. She is the author or editor of 10 books, including Be the People: A Call to Reclaim America's Faith and Promise and The New White Nationalism in America: Its Challenge to Integration.

Christopher Schorr holds a PhD in American Government from Georgetown University. His dissertation ("White Nationalism and its Challenge to the American Right") considers factors that risk mainstreaming white nationalist politics in the United States, including Critical Race Theory.

Dr. Swain Teaches

Dr. Swain uses persuasive arguments and logic to get her views across. She also narrates the book wonderfully, better than most professional narrators. I thoroughly enjoyed the book because Dr. swain has credibility - it's really as simple as that. I trust her viewpoint because she has proven to me she has integrity. I will continue to purchase her works and learn from her.

Professor Swain takes you through the entire idea of CRT, while dismantling it in simple, concise terms. If you want or need to know how to combat CRT, this is the book you need in your arsenal

Equality and Justice for All

Dr. Swain puts equality and justice in proper perspective. She also illuminates the Marxist counter culture to the American values and our legal foundation as well as the undermining of the Civil Rights won by those in our history.

Gives Specific Actions You Can Take

Good review of the origin of CRT. Gives some insight into the people who advocate it and the damage it inflicts. Most importantly, tells you how to fight back against this teaching that is morally and legally wrong. The book includes an exhaustive list of resources.

Opportunities Abound

Dr. Swain does a wonderful job of defining CRT and the danger it presents to our American way of life, not just one one element of our way of life, but every element. CRT is Marxism and it takes no prisoners. It is designed to completely destroy the freedoms too many of us, Republican and Democrat alike, take for granted. Dr. Swain makes a compelling argument for all freedom loving Americans, regardless of political affiliation, to take an active stand against CRT. As Dr. Swain points out there are no shortages of opportunity to take our stand.

If your looking for truth

I needed to understand CRT from something other than social media and what I hear about what is happening in our schools. This is a great book that explains it. It gets a little deep at times but it is very well researched, very well explained, and provides a foundation for you to say wait a minute! and challenge it occurs near you. I will listen to this a few times and do more research on the things I need to. I have already recommended this book to numerous people who have found it insightful and helpful to them as well.

Dr. Swain is a passionate patriot!

I love this book and am sending it to my family and friends. Dr Swain breaks down Critical Race Theory and why it is damaging for everyone. So many books are theoretical without any direction of how to put words to action. Dr. Swain provides a list of instructions.

Eye opening

I am so grateful for this book. I have learned so much and appreciate the author providing this education. I was told by someone in favor of CRT that it was originally made for lawyers but that it has been falsely stated as something used in schools. Also they believe CRT is educating about the truth i& history of slavery and abuses experienced by slaves and by limiting teaching CRT it is not allowing truth to be told about history. I don’t think most folks really know what it is. I knew there was a lot more to it and this book provides that information. It is told in an easy to comprehend way as well.

Misrepresention

She completely misrepresented Critical Race Theory. She also assumes all white people feel shame and guilt when talking about white supremacy which does exist and talking about it shouldn’t cause anyone to feel shamed who is not a part of it. So, I think she makes a lot of extreme interpretations to make Critical Race Theory seem extreme.
