Written 10 years ago and even more relevant today

Am going to suggest this for our church book group, well written with detailed references and set up with questions to encourage deep discussiion with a group. Now wondering- does Audible have a special discount for buying a print version?

WOW! The information presented in this book is relevant, rimely, añd I believe Providencly inspired!
Dr. Carol Swain is a phenomenal writer! I highly recommend this book for the remnant in the body of Christ to read, To humble ourselves in repentant prayer for our nation and take action as WE THE PEOPLE!

Pretends data and evidence driven

This book and it's author presents itself as being evidence and data driven and tries to present data as evidence. However, the data is selective just to speak to the predetermined rhetoric. Arguments such as "Connections to extremists are found in 10% of mosques in the US" are meant to scare us, but no mention of the fact that this data actually speaks to a very low risk coming from mosques as compared with the portion of Christian churches with connections to extremists.

The selective biblical references are similarly plucked to confirm the rhetoric often out of context and sometimes explicitly in contrast to earlier points. Is God unchangeable and the Bible his word, or are the biblical references to be filtered through the lens of the time of the people? The book argues both at different times.

Lastly, the author presents a call to Christians to stand firm in values, but in the 15 years time since this was written in 2009, it's telling at how soft the author's values must be to now support a president that so perfectly models the antithisis of Christ's word.
