I like this story but wished more intense feelings and attractions. disappointed with the alpha character writing and sexual attraction not strong enough. it was okay but weak in several parts with character development, sex scenes, connections, character devotion for cam and the bet. its ok not best.

I have to admit this one isn't my favorite by far, I'd rate the story a solid 2.5 but I decided 3 stars was better than 2 because I did enjoy myself in a lot of parts!

The story was slow and the couple didn't grip me that well, while I liked Gareth and Cam seperately I wasn't very invested in their relationship overall.

I didn't like how the characters kept talking about that Cam was "forgetting" Mia, like remembering her was a bad thing, but of course grieving someone for 10 years is really rough.

Happy the two of them ended up happy together though, and the whole outcome at the end was nice in my mind. I'm excited to read Rachel's story next.
