Brutal!

Great writing by Louise.
It is horrifying to even imagine that sexual abuse is an everyday occurrence, but to have a child pornography "breeding farm" for this purpose, is unthinkable.

Wow, even though some parts of this book is hard to listen to, I would say these books are the best books I have ever listen to. Great job I can't wait to start the next one.

tough story

it's not just there it's everywhere, everyday, somewhere.
you don't outgrow the crimes done against you, the physical, mental, emotional or sexual...too many look away doesn't make it go away.

I've known many a messed up family. Myself and my own biological father were adopted by the same people. My mother didn't know her father until 5 years ago. she grew to believe someone else was her father. but this..... why? how? I don't understand!?!? this is one of the toughest reads I have ever read.

Growing up not knowing when abuse started and it always being a part of your life is very difficult. if you don't learn how to mimic acceptable behavior young, you become the outcast. All my hope and prayers for these children. even those struggling today, I wish them healing and love.

A very heartwarming book that will break your heart at the same time.

Read any of Louise Allan's books about fostering children. They are all amazing! We certainly need more of this type of fostering caregivers.
