Really enjoyed!

I really enjoyed this story! It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved getting to know Curtis and Reed more and really getting to delve into their story. I also loved that we continued to get more of Matt and Law from the first book. Reed grew up in and around the club as Noah took him in when he was a kid/teenager and gave him a safe place and stability to finish growing up in. Reed made the choice to become a part of the club and he enjoys it. He is a sub and he has a massive crush/love for Curtis but Curtis won't go there because of Noah. But Noah is out of the picture as he is in jail serving a sentence that he took in order to protect another teenager that he had taken in. This is a fight club and kink club and it is very well done and the two woven together really well. Reed is pushing boundaries and things finally take off for Curtis and Reed and they become more and both are happy with it. They are committing to each other and settling in. That is, until Curtis's past catches up to him and instead of explaining, he runs and does a disappearance. It devastates Reed and it causes him to spiral and make unhealthy choices. When things happen and Curtis ends up coming back, he has a road ahead of him in order to get Reed back under control (no more unhealthy choices) and to earn his trust back for them to move forward into a relationship. I enjoyed seeing them open up and work through issues they had going on. They both have things they need to get through in order for them to be together in a healthy way and I loved seeing them find that. This book is heavy on the kink and a little on the darker, edgier side of things. Everything is consensual between our main characters and while they push boundaries that is a hard one they won't cross. The characters were really engaging and had me connected from beginning to end. I loved seeing them find their truth and happiness and what worked for them, even if it isn't the norm. They have created a safe place for people and they make sure the rules are followed with an iron fist. I am really excited for the next book in the series and to get to know and see Noah and how him being back affects our characters from the first two books.
The narrator did a great job with the story and bringing the characters to life.

the accents are pretty bad

Story is decent but the accents utilized are...not the best to say the least. Some of them seem to be entierly decided on a assumeptions based off characters names, one named Dallas has a badly done Texan accent as an example. The voices for the under 18s are even worse, the 13 year old sounds like a toddler with a lisp.
