Meh..
I didn’t love this audiobook. Usually I really enjoy everything Mhairi McFarlane writes but this just didn’t catch me at all.
I wonder if I would have liked it better with a different narrator. There is no romance, no feeling in how the story is told. The characters only talk to each other abruptly and very matter of factly, wether they are kissing or discussing something dramatic, there’s no emotion. Unfortunately the story is dragging and I don’t feel any romance here.
