Moving & challenging.
It’s rare to come across books that are able to so beautifully craft a bridge between theory and practice as Shane’s book does. The pillars of this bridge are strong: a robust knowledge of Scripture, deep thought and astonishing transparency. A refreshing view of the systematic nature of scripture and of the atonement.
I highly recommend this book to all Christians who need a reminder of what Christ’s accomplishments achieved, who our true Enemy is, and who we are called to be as a response. Shane brilliantly and boldly connects the scope of the Bible to examine what it truly means to live between two trees.
