Love this series...

Victoria Laurie is a an awesome author and Elizabeth Michael's is an excellent narrator. I find myself actually believing the character is real half the time. Truly enjoy the books! D Malaise

Very Entertaining

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It has a little bit of everything, thrill, funny, very good plot, and more. I really enjoyed it. Great narrator too.

Another Funny and Quirky Book

Wasn't disappointed with this light read. Not a deep plot, and Abby is a bit quirky but still enjoyable on a long trip where I needed to grin at some of the strange decisions she made, and the trouble she managed to get in.

Stalked by the mob

In the first book we were introduced to Abby and in this book we get to know her better. I expected we get to know her romantic interest Dutch as well, but instead we learn more about his ex-partner Milo.

I liked it more than the first book since the character is more developed and the plot more interesting. Also at the beginning "lair lair pants on fire" rant was really annoying especially when you are listening to the audiobook but you get used to it. When you hear that you know people are lying.

Great story but the narration...

This is the second book of the series and both stories are well written! The narration makes the character sound like she is 70 and annoyingly daffy or dingy. Listen for the story or save yourself the annoyance and read the book

It rates very high. The reader was excellent and the story is very well written.

The uniqueness of the story and the narrator.

The end of the book. I love how the writer achieves closure at the end.

Yes, but I don't because I only listen to books when I am traveling or in the car.

Summer Read

This is the second book in the series and I listened to the first story as well. I really enjoy the main character and really enjoy the series so far. This is very light and breezy reading with good main characters. Compared to the first book, the story was just a little too fabricated for me. Nevertheless, I already have the 3rd book downloaded.

Ummm Nah although it was entertaining its not a book that I would read over and over again.

Yes I find this series entertaining. informative & funny. And I think I can read a lot of myself in Abby Cooper on both the physical & spiritual level.

Yes & I can say the same for most of all the books I have continued to read.

The Tarot card reading scene at the wedding.
