Sweet

This was a nice rainy day read. I love the characters, thought the story was cute and enjoyed the narration. It was short and sweet. Would be great for the romance package :)

Short, sweet, and fun

This was a really fun listen. I loved the humor and the way the Cheyenne and Zoey banter. And, I really liked Ryerson. Just all the characters were very likable. And, despite it being so short, the story was complete. I would have liked it to be maybe a little longer, but it didn't feel rushed, just left me wanting a little more. Overall, a really fun listen well worth the time.

The narrator, Sophie James, also did a good job. This was my first for both the author and narrator. I received it via audiobook boom. It sounded interesting, so I gave it a try. Always on the look out for new authors and narrators. This was a good find.

A great short listen

I enjoy short books that I can fit in easily and this one was a great one. Considering the length I think that the character building was really well done. I would have liked the romance to take a bit longer, I felt like it happened a bit fast, but it was well written and convincing.

Ryerson ended up being my favorite character, he was very open and easy to get to know, and I felt like he got the short end of the stick with even his family being quite judgemental.

I haven't read book one and I feel like I've missed something there, but it's not available on audio yet so I may have to track down the e-book.

The narration was really enjoyable to listen to, I liked the character voices they seemed to match the character descriptions and were distinct.

Great Read

Best Bad Idea by Morgan Young was a great read. Cheyenne and Ryerson have a story that everyone can relate to. They met at a barbecue and her friend Zoey warned her away from him. But neither one can deny their attraction to each other. I loved reading their story.

cute novella

Cute short romance. I'm not sure Ryerson was a bad boy in the terms I'm used to but he went well with cheyenne.

Cheyenne had a unique relationship with her ex husband, so it created interesting conflict. Lots of loving, I'd definitely read more book in series (especially if they had audiobooks coming soon!).

Fun, quick listen, and a solid, complete story

Best Bad Idea by Morgan Young was a fun listen. At only about two and a half hours, I sometimes worry that shorter stories won't always feel complete. This one did. Cheyenne and Ryerson were well developed characters with good backstories. The book does have a few descriptive sex scenes, but they don't drag on for very long as some do. What can I say? I enjoyed the story and the characters. I'd listen to another of Morgan Young's books anytime!

Sophine James is a good narrator. Her narration in this story was well done and in a different book, I think she'd be the perfect narrator. That being said, I didn't love her for this particular main character (Cheyenne). Sophie has a bit of a husky voice and she sounded quite a bit older than the mid-20's that Cheyenne is supposed to be. That drove me a little crazy. I definitely wouldn't NOT listen to this if it sounds like something that you'd like though.

Great Contemporary Romance

This is a short steamy contemporary romance. It is a well written story that held my attention from beginning to end. It is nice to be able to listen to it in one sitting.

Narration was well done and brought the story to life.

The characters were interesting and very likable. The story sucked me in and kept me entertained all the way to the sweet conclusion.

This book can be read as a stand alone even though it is part of the Small Town Sexy series. I’m looking forward to listening to more books by this talented writer & narrator.
