I hate that I'm saying this because I like reading, listening to audio books, and learning things. This book is not worth getting. First off, the title is not the overall content of the book but a small check list near the end. Most of the parenting information is either really obvious or found literally everywhere else. The writing is not warm at all bit more like an official science report written about an experiment on kids. The information is theoretically nice but mostly useless in practice, since the moment a meltdown starts, "talking nice" isn't going to work at all. I impulse bought this, and if I had paid attention to the rating and runtime, I wouldn't have gotten it. Pick a different parenting book. This one is not as advertised.
