Absolutely...

Worth a credit/purchase! This book was a wonderful surprise. The emotion of two broken souls and the love that survived years apart. Excellent all the way around - from story to narration, well done! ✨️

Definitely worth it

This book ended up being much more than I was expecting and I really enjoyed it. I was prepared for a second chance romance but not all of the danger and drama surrounding the romance. If you’re the fence I would definitely recommend checking this one out.

Couldn’t get behind either character

So I don’t usually like manufactured drama, but I couldn’t get over the girls reaction when the mmc waltzes back into her life like he didn’t break her heart and ghost her for years —with no apology and no explanation. She’s not even mad, doesn’t even ask him a single question. I can’t even say she caves, because she doesn’t put up any resistance at the beginning at all to cave in FROM. Just welcomes him back with open arms like a pathetic, needy, horny weakling eager to throw herself at him just because he finally bothers to show his face and pay attention to her. I couldn’t stand her simpering. It actually made ME mad and beyond irritated on her behalf. And it turned me against the male character as the one wanting to win back her love bc he doesn’t have to put in any effort. He expects total compliance and comes off as an arrogant a$$. He doesn’t even seem to FEEL bad or think he owes her an explanation. Every interaction irritated the H€££ out of me bc I kept wondering is she EVER GOING TO QUESTION ANYTHING?!?! ASK FOR AN APOLOGY? WTF?
For at least 5 hours, She doesn’t have ANY backbone and never puts up any resistance to anyone about anything. She barely thinks dissent, but even when she does she doesn’t acts on or voices it. Instead she compulsively apologizes for everything. She repeatedly “digs for courage” and can never come up with ANY. Ever.
Then, insult to injury, we stop getting relief with the MC POV, it’s just more and more of her. I don’t know why a female author would write such a pathetic female character.
So I end up with no respect for either of them and that makes for an empty and annoying love story. I couldn’t stand it.

Absolutely loved

This was such an amazing book. The voice actors did such a great job and I was totally enthralled. Will have to listen to it again in the future!

Great story of the privileged and the not so.

Much drama, mystery and angst. Also, about true love among two young couples in high school that were forced to end it and separated for six years. Until they come back together for some serious drama that comes from Emily's family. Great narration from two fantastic voice actors Teddy and Callie.

This is a MUST READ!!!

I've binged K.C. Lynn audio books for the last week and I've not been disappointed in any of them. This was no exception. Their back story was heartbreaking, but when they meet again, the adult chemistry, alpha hotness, and sass make this book un-put-downable!

Addicting

Really enjoyed this story. It was so addicting. I was a little iffy with the female narrator, but got use to it by the end.

BLIND LOVE

I enjoyed this story. Emily became blind as a little girl due to witnessing a horrible ordeal. She met Ryder in high school. He was the bad boy that lived on the other side of the tracks. Her father didn't approve and made him leave without saying goodbye. 6 years later they ended up meeting up again. The story at times made me grit my teeth because it was a bit cheesy but over all I liked it. Narration: Teddy Hamilton can make any woman swoon with that sexy voice! I can listen to it all day long. Callie I loved her female voice but was not a bit fond of her male voice. Had a bit of hot scenes but not that exciting. Over all.. it was pretty good.

Beautiful Story

This was an amazing love story. Not just that but a story of pain and heartache. Twist and turns and in the end you know it's about complete acceptance.
