Heartwarming and encouraging

Since I live in Ohio, I had heard Kylie's tragic story of being severely burned when her family's house caught on fire. But until I listened to this book, I had never heard "the rest of the story", as they say. This book is told, not just from Kilee's viewpoint, but also that of her mother, father and brother. Kilee's successful struggle to heal, grow, and give back to others who are struggling with crippling and decorative injuries was made possible, not just be her faith and resolve, but by strength, support and care provided by her family and community. If you and your family are experiencing this type of struggle, you will find this book to be very encouraging and enlightening. All of the narrators did an excellent job in portraying their character's struggles, both emotional and physical. Nancy Peterson did an exceptional job in representing the mother, Lori, in her love, fears, and persistence in making sure that Kilee received not only the care she needed, but also the support to do what she had to do to get well, no matter how hard it was.
