Never Give up or give in.
Over 2,000 books in my library this is #1. I listened straight thru. A testimony of the friends you make someday my save you. Too many things to list as outstanding. Atrue blue 100% honest account of living in hell on earth and winning his freedom. You have to remember Job in the Bible. My life will never be the same after listening to this man. long story of bad conditions but great epilog ...
I didn't love this story but I did end up liking it. There were a couple times I was going to return it. I'm glad I listened till the end. Narrator was ok. For a while through out the book I felt he kind of got what he deserved. Only because he seemed arrogant , privileged and felt he was the law... (He said that too). I was sort of perturbed with him. But he did change up. In the end I learned a great lesson of forgiveness and to let go. And a few other things one being belief in Spirit. He and many other inmates endured more than what seemed humanly possible. I say give the book a try and just hang in with it.
