Touching story about men, nature! Tough story, tough conditions where sweetness and kindness radiates !

I enjoyed the story line and the tension since the beginning [Rose][Rose]. The reading style fits well with the story - I like to listen at 1,2 speed for more action or at 1 speed to be carried touchingly through the story.

Moving, relevant and uplifting

I felt sad when this audiobook finished because it was such an enjoyable treat to listen to… like the end of a fascinating trip with interesting and very likable companions. bear Woman Rising takes place in the 1970s but the messages regarding the challenges women face when fighting for the opportunity to shine professionally are absolutely relevant today. I also loved many of the characters and related fully to the powerful female friendships described. Actor Megan Cole is an excellent, versatile and wonderfully engaging narrator. I loved this audiobook!

I miss Jesse and Kara already

What an engaging story about interesting characters finding their way through their challenges. I especially liked Jesse’s persistence in the face of gender stereotypes. Treat yourself to this audiobook.
