great

this is a great set of books. I really enjoyed listening to the stories. I will be getting the next set of books.

so lackluster and frustrating...

First off, the narration gritted on me. Allison was VERY monotone. Second, if you like a strong, non-irritating, female lead, DO NOT WASTE YOUR CREDIT. Allison turns out to be super whiny. Maybe Meyers was trying to portray her as strong by "trying" to make her sound strong and like she wouldn't back down, but it did thr opposite. She sounded annoying AF.

Good story, terrible narration

While this is a typical suspense romance story with sex scenes, the single person narration is not so okay. Even that could have been okay but his influction is terrible. I can’t get into the story because it’s so distracting. I bought the boxed set so I’m hoping the next books are better. I apologize for the bad review because I try to focus on the positive but it’s not happening for me.

Great audios! Nothing wrong with Narration

I saw so many reviews saying that the narration was bad that I almost passed on this one. I'm glad I didn't. Great stories. Very moving. I loved them.

Amazing

Wow, just wow! Each story is equally intense, heart pounding, and beautiful in their own ways. I enjoyed taking this ride with the Bayou Devils and their counterparts. Great series.

It’s a maybe

The plot was good on the first book. BUT I couldn’t make it past the first book. The narration was horrible. I tried to get pass the male narrator as the women’s voices but I just couldn’t. If the narration was better I’m sure I’d have finished the books. I gave 4 stars for the story of book one.

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed these books. Narration could have been better. But overall, they were great. Wish you would release another box set of Bayou Devils!

Wow

Overall good stories but the female heroines were insufferable at times. Why be so stubborn that you put yourself in danger while ignoring the men that protect those in need for a living.

Narrators

As previously stated the narrators weren’t so great, but got better by the end. The stories were good but dragged on a bit. Overall - good stories. I wish in these they would have an epilogue for all the stories. For example - the baby was a girl, they got married when etc.

storyline good but female lead just terrible

omg Allison is so incredibly irritating. I cant even finish the first book in this set because of how horrible she is. shes so back and forth - every problem she has she makes worse, and anyone that tries to help her she yells at and ignores their advice. and shes an advice collumnest. she shouldn't be giving anyone advice. ever. I feel bad for Logan that he has to deal with her shit.
