Robert N. Charrette is a member of the Society of Creative Anachronisms and the La Belle Compagnie. He has worked as a graphic artist, game designer, art director, and commercial sculptor. Other works of the author include A Prince Among Men and Shadowrun series.

Christopher Graybill has performed numerous audiobooks ranging from classic Westerns to science fiction as well as hundreds of commercials and corporate audio narrations. He has also written two short plays, Eye to Eye and Go Look, published by Samuel French.

More wonderful Battletech books!

We need more of these books in our lives, a sorely underrated space opera that is beautiful and diverse.

total battletech goodness

it felt like an abridged copy. though I believe it to be a series of novelettes. still worth listening to.

Very good stories and a good value... three books for one credit. I will be listening to more in the series.

Maybe Not!!

I absolutely love these books! But they removed 3/4's of EVERY book. you get the overall of them but there are some very important nuances that you miss because of this! Other than that these are a good listen!

Amazing Collection

This series showcases incredible writing by legendary authors, paired with excellent narration. The six books provide a deep dive into the BattleTech universe, making it a must-listen for any fan.

these books are good but audio problems

the sound effects used in these books will often drown out entire sentences sometimes a paragraph. the three books contained within are two are average ones good overall I would recommend this if you like battletech.

Actual mech battles

Stories are a little disjointed. Individual plot lines need more back story to give context.

Abridged Booooo

I have read many of the battletech books including the ones in this compilation. I enjoyed them all. the story and performance were great. What I hated was that they were heavily abridged.

Abridged Trash, Don't waste Your Money

The shyster bastards who sold this didn't indicate that it's abridged. it's maybe 2/3 of the book at best. The idiots who chose what to leave in excluded pivotal character development and significant battles. Their moronic edits leave portions of this as incoherent drivel, relating back to events in the book never read. It's a fraudulent waste of money and I want a refund. The sounds effects were pretty good though.

This is books 2-4 NOT 4-6…

All of these books are great for Battletech fans or sci-fi fans alike. The audio production makes it fun do listen with the sfx and minor use of music between chapters. Graybill consistently does a great job narrating through the entire series.

2 star overall because these ARE NOT the books listed in the title, just check the cover art…
