What Rogue One should be.

I enjoyed this story. I wish this story was a playable campaign on the game Battlefront but I digress. The story was fun and it offered perspective changes in classic events and introduced new battles to the canon. I felt the only issue I had was some of the character ran together for me. Some of them were too alike and I started to get a little confused. I hope Twilight company gets a mention in Rogue One. Speaking of Rogue One if it is anything like this it will be a great movie. Loved the perspectives of both the Empire and Rebellion. Really was a good audiobook and I would recommend it to any Star Wars fan. The performance was also good.

Loved this story the reader was perfect great voices very well done! Made me want to listen to more story of the point of view of the rebels and stormtroopers!

An Interesting New Perspective

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the soldier aspect of war. It's a very different kind of Star Wars book which can be refreshing.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the different perspective, we rarely learn anything about the common soldiers in Star Wars and so following them throughout an entire novel is fascinating.

Very Impressed

I was surpised by how much I loved this book. I was referred by another Star Wars. I enjoyed how this story EXPANDED the Star Wars universe. Before I read this my idea of the rebel alliance was that of a small group attacking a monstrous beast called the Empire. This book details a large, albeit stressed, intricate galaxy wide system.
I liked all of the characters in Twilight Company. None of them were perfect. But all of them unique and rich.
A great book and audio book.

Thrilling Star Wars tale that gets into the trenches

Love, love, loved this story. It brings a sense of humanity to the Star Wars mythos and conveys the complexity of war. The audio adaptation is outstanding with music and sound effects. The reader was outstanding.

Fantastic storry telling that ties wonderfully in with the classic films and the new Canon. Very impressed. Loved the added sound fx, music and accents.

Updated: this book remains one of one of my favorite Star Wars stories. Like Andor and Rouge One, this is a more gritty SW story that shows explores the ugly sides of the Galactic Civil War. Mostly a self-contained story with a few cameos. I enjoyed revisiting a few moments from the originial trilogy with a new lens.

A great entry in the Star Wars saga.

Battlefront adds background at ground lever fir a few battles you may have previouskt read about but one you have seen. recommend to all fans.
